NUMBERS DOUBLE A YEAR ON AS GLOBAL RUNNING CAMPAIGN RETURNS TO WORTHING

More than 1,000 primary school children took part in an INEOS GO Run For Fun® event in Worthing this week, cheered on by GO Run For Fun mascot, Dart. Children from local primary schools took part in the fun run at The Gallops, Bost Hill and Vale Drive, Worthing, West Sussex, on Thursday 22nd October, with support from The Vale First and Middle School Running Club volunteers and Worthing schools.

Ella Evans, 10, from Norwich, tells us how GO Run For Fun has spurred her family on to take up running

Name: Ella Evans Age: 10 ¾ From: Norwich Ella took part in the Norwich GO Run For Fun event at Eaton Park for the first time last year where she met ambassador Mark Lewis-Francis. He signed her baseball cap which she now treasures. While she doesn’t consider herself to be a natural runner, she loved the experience of running with her friends. As a result of taking part in GO Run For Fun it has spurred her on to join other local runs.
